Cathy has built overwhelming experience in Investment Banking and particularly in the bonds and derivatives market through her profile career on Wall Street. She was former Managing Director of Nomura Securities International Inc., New York (the US subsidiary of the then world’s largest investment bank), former Vice-President, Shaerson-Lehman Inc. (a then subsidiary of American Express), New York and was also President/CEO, Capital Market Strategies Inc., New York. As Director, Commercial Mortgage Finance, she was involved in structuring and supervising all commercial and residential mortgage-backed securities transactions. She was also responsible for establishing Nomura Asset Capital Corporation and Nomura Asset Securities Corporation.

A specialist in Treasury, Risk and Human Resource Management, Eileen has an MBA in Finance and Investments from the George Washington University, Washington DC. She started her banking career in 1982 with an affiliate of First National Bank of Chicago (International Merchant Bank Plc, Lagos) working for several years as a Lender, then in Correspondent Banking where she was responsible for managing several of the bank’s European and American banking relationships. She was later Head, International Treasury Department and then Head, Financial Advisory. As founder/CEO of H. Pierson, she has led numerous landmark consulting deals with regulators and high profile clients. Among numerous international trainings such as at the Havard Business School, she was on attachment to Mellon Bank Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for several months. She is a Regional Director of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).

Joseph is a chartered accountant and a taxation expert with over 17 years experience. He has worked as an external auditor to several international organizations. He also worked with Pfizer Group where he reached the position of Head, Management accounts and Treasury. He specializes in Project Management, Operational Risk Management, Risk-based Audit, Customer Service Delivery, Competency Modeling, Performance Management, and Strategy Framework Development and Implementation. He has led several consulting projects in these areas. He has been part of several international seminars and trainings in highly rated business schools – Wharton, USA and INSEAD, France. He has also been to a number of banks in Europe and South Africa on work visits. Joseph is also a member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), USA. He is currently an Executive Director in H. Pierson. Joseph has a B.Sc (Second Class Upper) Business Administration and holds a MBA in Marketing, with a distinction.

Madu is a chartered accountant and an Akintola Williams award winner. He has over 15 years experience in external auditing, systems analysis and design, financial management and financial advisory consulting. He has attended several international courses in quality system management, process review and re-engineering, change management, credit analysis, financial advisory and business strategy. He has also led several audit, HR and Acquisition Analysis and Integration consulting projects and is currently the Head of Training, Business and Financial Advisory groups. Madu is a Certified Credit Analyst, a member of the American Academy of Financial Management and holds an MBA in International Business Management.

Prior to joining H. Pierson, Humaira was Director and Head of Banks in Standard Chartered Bank, Bangladesh. She has extensive experience in risk management, strategy and policy formulation, relationship management, credit, international trade, compliance & audit, corporate and retail products, customer service excellence, designing customer satisfaction surveys, process re-engineering and product development. She has professional qualifications in Credit Skills Assessment (CSA), Trade Skills Assessment (TSA), Financial Institution Risk Management (FIRM), and International Capital Market Qualification (ICMQ) by Securities Institute, UK. She has led various teams in a number of global workshops on risk, credit, cash and trade. Humaira worked closely with the FMO, IFC & GE Frakona (now Swiss Re) in forming a trade enhancement facility for leading Bangladeshi banks. She has also participated in several international management development programmes on service excellence, proactive relationship banking and business goal management. In her association with H. Pierson, Humaira has successfully contributed to several of our risk projects for the financial sector through her knowledge of best practices.

Dr. Narayanan is a risk and banking expert with strong international experience, having been involved with numerous projects with institutions such as HSBC Bank, Investec Bank and Securities, Arab National Bank, among others. His competencies in risk management include Basel II Project implementation from Standardized to Advanced Approaches, Risk Data Management, Risk Rating Systems design, Scorecard Development and Validation, Stress Testing, Economic Capital Modeling and Risk-based Consolidated Supervision. He also has sound knowledge of International Accounting Policies including but not limited to IAS and GAAP
Dr. Narayanan is also an Investment Banking & Global Markets expert with extensive experience in Treasury – Front, Middle and Back Office – including FX, Derivatives, Interest Rate Derivatives, Fixed income derivatives, Strategy, Credit Analysis, Credit Review and Credit monitoring.
He has a Doctorate degree in Economics & Statistics/International Banking & Finance, an MBA in Business Finance Management & Administration, a Masters degree in Information Technology – Information Management & System Security Application, a Masters of Commerce degree – Major: Advanced Banking & Finance, a Bachelors of Commerce and A certification in Project Management – Project Management Support & Strategy.
